Earth Day at Oakland

Third-graders at Oakland Elementary celebrated Earth Day by writing letters to other Oakland classes about how important it is to take care of our Earth. These letters were sent to other classroom teachers to share with their classes. Students also planted flowers and plants and picked up trash on campus. Students were so excited about planting the flowers and making the campus beautiful. It was great to see students helping each other and working hard. The students picking up trash, returned with many bags of trash to show proof of their hard work. We are so proud of our students. Keep working to make our world more beautiful!
