Kevin from BSHS Bulldogs came to visit our class and share some healthy habits with us. He said he runs every morning and evening and that it is important to get plenty of rest and eat healthy. Thanks Kevin for being a great role model for our students at Oakland.

Habitats for Sale

Third grade enjoyed a lesson on habitats of SC. They had fun creating habitats of their SC animal. 

SC Regions Research

Students worked in teams to research one of the six SC regions. Their goal is to become 

an expert on the one region and share what they've learned with the class. After teams have presented on Monday, we will fill in a chart with the information on all six regions. Look for this chart in the SC Journal. 

Pirate Day At OES

The National Theater for Children visited OES pirates and presented, "A Treasure Trove of Conservation Cove".
